Biography
Jane Adams was born and raised in Canada and currently resides in Montreal. She has a degree in Textiles and Design from Ryerson University in Toronto and has recently completed a Fine Arts Degree from Concordia University in Montreal. Adams returned to academic studies after design related careers in the clothing and furniture industries.
Her mediums of choice include textiles, pulp and paper derivatives, plaster and resins. She uses the human figure as her trope to explore sculptural thought in her figurative work.
