Artist Statement
As an artist, my journey has been a colorful exploration of joy, movement, and the vibrant beauty found within floral forms. Initially drawn to abstract art, my work evolved to incorporate flowers—a subject that has ultimately become my obsession. Flowers, with their endless varieties, rich colors, and gestural potential, resonate with my quest for artistic freedom and expression.
Creating art for me is an intuitive process; I work swiftly, following instinct rather than logic. Each piece combines deep, powerful colors and the energetic movement of brush strokes, bringing my canvases to life. Through my art, I aim to convey the happiness flowers evoke and their ability to instill cheerfulness, regardless of the arrangement.
I find inspiration in the simple yet profound moments of family life and the bursts of creativity that they inspire. Music, gardening, or even a spontaneous conversation with my children can spark an idea that leads me rushing into my studio, eager to capture that feeling on canvas.
Flowers, to me, symbolize not just beauty, but the limitless possibilities of color and form. As I delve deeper into this botanical world, I remain grateful for the passion that continues to drive my dedication to my craft.
