Biography

Jennifer Rasmusson is an american artist from Utah. She believes that painterly works examine ever-changing relationship in life.  For her,  painting is a conversation. She may have an idea of what she wants to say but there is a process of give and take between herself and the marks on the canvas… there are always unexpected turns. Her favorite part is oil paint. The rich creamy texture and luminous color begin to tell the real story. The she and the canvas both understand each other and are better for the conversation they had.
