Biography
A painter, printmaker, sculptor, author and illustrator, John Lim was born in Singapore and has lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since 1964. In addition to creating popular paintings and prints he is the author and illustrator of the children’s books At Grandmother’s House (1977) and Merchants of the Mysterious East (1981). According to the Canadian Heritage Information Network* a painting of his is in the permanent collection of the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa, Ontario.
He exhibited with the Society of Canadian Artists (Toronto) in 1972 and the Stratford Art Association (Stratford, Ontario) in 1973.
